1. Bomber jackets
I cannot get enough of bomber jackets. Not only are brands coming out with your basic bog standard bomber, they are now venturing into new designs. Striped, longline, denim, oversized, knitted, printed - you name it, ASOS will probably have it. Pair a bomber with some distressed jeans and a basic tee, with either strappy heels or some Nikes for that Sporty-Luxe look.
2. Jeans
Not just any old jeans, frayed jeans! If you head over to Monikh's blog you will not be disappointed with her styling skills. She takes frayed jeans to the next level, and this is what sparked my love for everything frayed. I'm so in love with that medium blue wash denim look paired with a classic white shirt and sandals. So effortless and outrageously easy to pull together.
3. Off the shoulder
There's just something so sexy about shoulder cleavage. Like, seriously, isn't it so sophisticated? It's so much more elegant than wearing the shortest dress or the most low cut top, or both for that matter... Summer weather is approaching and obs the shoulder tops/dresses will be taking over. Love it.
4. Dresses
This white denim shirt dress is so nice and perfect for petites like myself. I find it extremely difficult to find dresses that are the right length, and that don't make me look like a 10 year old trying to look twice my age. This is great for Summer with sandals, oversized sunnies and a cross body bag. At £20 i'm putting it in my basket right now.
5. Fringing
I don't know what I love more, fringe or fray. I know it's getting warmer here in the UK but I always seem to be buying knitwear. I can't be the only one to wear jumpers in the summer months, or am I? This light grey marled jumper with fringing has a slouchy feel and look. It teams well with some denim shorts and Stan Smiths on a chilly Summer's evening.
6. Culotte
Again, it's petite, i'm sorry. But ASOS are going in on culottes and anyone could find the perfect pair for them, no matter what shape or size. I was drawn to these because of the linen, really light and breathable - plus for someone like me, who does not have a thigh gap and is truly satisfied with what I have, these linen loose trousers will be perfect.
7. Translucent
Ok, I know what you're thinking. WTF are those?! Just bear with me on this one. Have you ever put an outfit together and thought 'what shoes would go with this' or 'shoes don't go with an outfit like this', then these are the answer! It's basically a shoe that isn't a shoe, a non shoe-shoe.
8. Strappy sandals
Flat or heeled, they're both nice. They can make an outfit go from alright, to all things sassy instead. These work wonders with tailored outfits, especially your typical suit trouser i.e. the cigarette. Heeled sandals can make a girl go from plane jane in a suit to a respectable, approachable business woman who knows her fashion.
9. Totes
And finally, totes. I love a good sturdy, robust tote bag, especially with shorter handles. This Mango weaved tote bag is marvellous. Not only does it look great, but it's practical too (guesses on where that quote comes from?!) Bloggers and YouTuber's who lug around a heck load of camera gear, makeup and maybe a spare pair of flats needs a tote in their lives.
